Just when you thought GPS technology has been used to just about everything including the kitchen sink, Garmin has developed a high-performance personal trainer device that incorporates a highly-sensitive GPS receive. Introducing the Garmin Forerunner 305.

It sports a unique design wherein the GPS antenna is wrapped around part of the wrist for a better map and sky views, as well as a GPS receiver that enables tracking even under trees and near tall buildings. The Forerunner 305 also has a wireless heart rate monitor placed in a comfortable chest strap, and eliminates interferences with other devices for a more reliable measurement.
