Dell Vostro 1710 Laptop

The Dell Vostro 1710 is the new offering on the company’s line of portable and mobile PC’s. In fact the Dell Vostro 1710 is being offered as a convenient replacement for your desktop, providing the same computing power and capabilities of desktops and yet offer the portability of laptops.

The Dell Vostro 1710 is the largest among the laptops belonging to the Vostro series. It is the largest especially in terms of its 17 inch screen size. And its specifications makes it a powerful gadget indeed. Its makes use of Intel’s Core 2 Duo T9500 CPU series of processors with a choice with either the integrated Intel graphics or the discrete NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT version.

This notebook’s RAM stands at 4GB and comes with other features such as a choice between a 24X DVD/CD-RW combo drive or a or an 8x DVD+/-RW with double-layer DVD+/-R write capability. You can also choose between a 320 GB or up to 640 GB of hard disk storage, and an optional integrated 1 mega pixel web cam. For security purposes, the Dell Vostro 1710 can also be equipped with an optional Biometric fingerprint reader to limit access and provide some privacy protection to the owner.
