Google Reader is a web-based aggregator software from the search engine giant that is capable of reading Atom or RSS feeds online or offline. First released on October of 2005, it has since graduated from its beta status on September 17, 2007. And sometime on May of 2006, a mobile interface of the Google Reader was released that can be used by devices and mobile phones with WAP 2.0 and XHTML support.
And now, Google Reader has just released its version for the mobile Safari browser used by the Apple iPhone and the iTouch. The Google Reader for the Safari browser now allows iPhone and and iTouch users to check out RSS feeds on their devices, making their mobile surfing all the more convenient. Although still on its beta stage, the Google Reader aims to bring a more desktop experience of the application to the mobile user.
