Infection LED Watch

Tokyoflash, a shopping site for unique-looking wristwatches from Japan (all of which do not have numbers or clock hands), has come up with its latest model called Infection. The Infection wristwatch is an original design from Tokyoflash, which comes with sleek curves, a tri-colored LED, and a pulsating display consisting of colored dots. It comes in a full-face mirrored lens and housed in a smart new case. This watch is ergonomically designed to neatly fit all the contours of the user’s wrist, while its tapered edges provide a smooth transition between the case and the lens.

Time is presented using 27 multi-colored LEDs that pulsate and move like cells across the curved face from beneath the attractive mirrored mineral crystal lens. The watch is finished with a matching leather band and stainless steel clasp, giving Infection a flashy look that is sure to get its user noticed. Two buttons at the side of the watch can make the LEDs animate or show the time immediately.

The display contains 12 red LEDs to indicate hours, eleven yellow LEDs to represent the progression of time in groups of five minutes, and four green LEDs to show single minutes. On the photo you see three reds, 11 yellows, and one green. The red lights indicate that the time is 3 o’ clock (whether morning or afternoon), while the yellow lights tell that 55 minutes have passed the hour (11 multiplied by 5), and the single green light means the user has to add a single minute. In other words, the time is 3:56.

Infection is available in Tokyoflash for 13,900 yen, or about US$131.
