Call of Duty: World at War

Call of Duty: World At War is a first person shooter video game. It is actually the fifth installment of the series developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for PS3, Wii, Xbox and PC’s. The new offering would usher in a first for the whole series franchise- World At War now features cooperative game play for players online.

The Call of Duty: World At War game now offers an online multiplayer feature that allows a maximum of four to play online. The World at War already features cooperative game play that pits four players via a split screen console.

The online multiplayer feature is new to the franchise and the developers are currently looking for players to sign-up for its online multiplayer beta testing for versions of the game on Xbox and PC.

The aim is to allow avid players of the game to have the chance to practice the tactics needed to survive the intense chaos of the battlefield in World At War. Release of the game is scheduled for November 11, 2008.
