Lenovo IdeaPad Y530

Lenovo’s IdeaPad Y530 is a multimedia notebook that offers the consumers some cool multimedia features. It comes with Dolby Home Theater sound plus subwoofer and four surround speakers, light-touch media controls, HDMI out, and a "frameless" display panel. With a subdued and simple design and solid construction, this notebook targets dorm rooms and even serves as a home theater system’s media hub.

Powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 2 Ghz, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 specs include 250GB 5400RPM SATA hard drive, 3GB DDR3 SDRAM, 15.4 inch WXGA glossy widescreen display (1280 x 800), NVIDIA GeForce 9300M with 256MB VRAM, and integrated DVD-Writer optical drive. It also features a 1.3 MP integrated camera, a face recognition software, high definition audio, Wireless LAN antenna, Bluetooth antenna, and 6-in1 card reader, and Windows Vista Home Premium (SP1, 32-bit).

On the downside, IdeaPad Y530 has overly reflective screen. Weighing 6.6 lbs, the notebook is also heavier than other systems with similar size.
