ASUS W90 Multimedia Notebook

ASUS presented its newest multimedia notebook, the ASUS W90, at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show. It is the first notebook in the planet that comes with a 3 x SO-DIMM mainboard design. It has a RAM capacity of 6GB of DDR2-800 memory and dual hard disk drives that provide up to 1 TB of storage capacity. Powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor technology, this massive speed gives ASUS W90 the muscle for multitasking.

The sophisticated ASUS W90 multimedia notebook is available with an option of either 17-inch widescreen WUXGA ultra-bright LCD display or 18.4-inch widescreen HD ultra-bright LCD display. These displays offer a full HD1080p visual experience. The notebook is equipped with 5 Altec Lansing speakers and an integrated subwoofer.

With ASUS W90’s Turbo Gear function, you can overclock the system to increase its performance by around 25%. This allows you to play videos and music, while web-browsing and gaming simultaneously. The mega-notebook PC is unblemished in a brushed aluminum top cover. There is no information though as to the availability and price of this multimedia notebook.
