
Panasonic released the Lumix DMC-FX580 digital camera earlier this year. It is a 12.1 megapixel digital camera that features a touch screen display. It also is equipped with a 25 mm ultra wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom. It allows such a compact digital camera with capturing high quality images. An Extra optical Zoom feature in the camera allows users to get a maximum of 9.8x zooming power when needed.
Not only is the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX580 digital camera good at taking still images, it is also equipped to record moving images in high definition video. The 3.0 inch TFT touch screen display allows easy access to the navigation menu as well as offer playback or review of the captured high quality images. The camera can accommodate SD, SDHC Memory Card as well as MultiMediaCard. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX580 is available for around US$400.
