Viliv is not a portable media player or a portable gaming device. It’s actually a tiny computer masquerading as something else.
It weighs less than a pound. It has a 4.8-inch screen with a 1024×600 resolution. You need not worry about things getting way to miniscule. This thing runs Windows XP home which makes thing highly customizable. It’s got 1GB of memory and a 60 GB hard drive. It also purports to have a 6-hour battery life. This device has no keyboard. So how are you going to get your work done you ask. You simply press a button to make the on-screen keyboard. Push the button again to hide it. Simple. Practical. S5 performs like your desktop or laptop would, only in miniature. Using Firefox and syncing it with your other devices is no problem, so is using Gmail, watching videos and reading using eReader.
All in all , it’s a joy to use Viliv’s S5, and for $599 at Dynamism, it’s a steal.
