3G Palm Pre Comes to Bell Canada

The secret is out:  The much-anticipated and much-hyped 3G Palm Pre (which every other tech reviewer would claim as the closest contender for the title of "iPhone Killer") will become available to Bell by late August.

The good people behind Bell Canada has spilled the beans and announced that the 3G Palm Pre mobile phone is now available for pre-order before its release on August 27. 

Just in case you have been in limbo lately, the Palm Pre is the first mobile phone that runs on Palm’s new webOS platform, which brings mobile applications together in a distinct and instinctive multi-tasking environment while integrated with popular social networking tools and powerful search functions.

Canadians can get to pre-order their very own Palm Pre for C$199.95 (about $187) on a three-year contract or C$599.95 (about $558) without contract, though you are required to utilize data of at least 500MB a month.  Pre-orders are available at Bell Canada’s website or at selected Bell retail partners on north of the border.
