Taiwan’s HTC, which is slowly creeping into the American smartphone market, has introduced its latest touch screen phone: The HTC Touch2, one of the first smarphones to utilize the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.
The HTC Touch2 includes a variety of advanced features such as the TouchFLO, an enhanced user interface that includes integrated weather updates and quick touch access to popular applications such as Google Maps for Mobile, YouTube, and so much more.
Aside from its operating system, the HTC Touch2 also includes several Microsoft-based programs and applications such as Microsoft My Phone, Windows Marketplace for Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile, and Microsoft Exchange. Manage multiple e-mail accounts, browse through accurately-display desktop style Web pages, download a variety of new applications, and back-up and synch your photos, music, contacts, and text messages to the Web for free.
The HTC Touch2 will first become available in selected areas in Europe and Asia beginning October 6, 2009.
