The UH-19XRW Hoverwingâ„¢

From Universal Hovercraft comes this unique, "high performance" vehicle. The UH-19XRW Hoverwing^TM is so unique because of its ability to add wings for flight in ground effect.

This ability enables you to overcome obstacles and flyover over rough waters at speeds of over 75 mph. The Hoverwing’s cruise altitude is 2-6 feet, but can leap up to 20 feet to surmount larger obstacles.

Ground-effect flight does not require a pilot’s license, plus this vehicle is registered as a boat – giving commercial and the tourism industries a range of new opportunities.

It only takes 10 minutes to remove the Hoverwings’wings. Without its wings, the Hoverwing is transformed into Sport mode. Sleek and speedy, the high performance hovercraft can carry 4-6 passengers into places that other vehicles cannot reach. This is just what makes the hoverwing unique – the ability to configure ways to accommodate its passengers’ (or equipment).

Unfortunately, the UH-19XRW Hoverwing is not yet available for recreational use. It can be used for commercial, industrial, and rescue, and military operations only.
