Samsung Armani SPH-W8200

At first glance, you may mistake this as the usual Samsung Instinct with an unusual gold appearance and a much more unusual pull-down number pad.  Chances are, you may be right, but let’s just keep it a secret.  Instead, we will introduce to you the result of the collaboration between Samsung and fashion powerhouse Giorgio Armani.

The Samsung Armani, or Samsung SPH-W8200 for the more technically-correct, features an Armani logo that glows so people around you in clubs would instantly notice that you have it made.  (We suspect that the flashing logo is the only contribution of Armani to the handset, but what do we know?)  It also comes with a 5-megapixel camera. WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, a DMB TV tuner, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and a microSD expansion slot.  There is no announcement yet on the price and availability,but what we do know is that it will become available first in South Korea, may never cross the Pacific, and does not come cheap.
