Asus O!Play HD Media Player

It is cool to view photos, watch movies, and listen to music in high-definition quality.  However, checking those files on a computer does not do justice.  Thankfully, there are HD media streamers that play almost all digital media files imaginable into your home entertainment system. 

Asus is one of the newest HD media player manufacturers that will test the waters of this growing category.  The Asus O!Play supports HD video playback in a wide array of codecs like MPEG1 through 4, VC-1, and RMVB, as well a many file formats like MP4, MOV, AVI, DIVX, and MKV, all with 1080p resolution.  The unit also connects to the display through HDMI or composite A/V, while it also accommodates media from USB 2.0 flash drives or fixed Ethernet.

The Asus O!Play HDP-R1 media player is now available in the United States for a reasonable price of US$99.99.
