The two electronic powerhouses, under the Garmin-Asus tag, has released the nüvifone G60, while will be available exclusively on AT&T before the 2009 holiday season. Developed as early as 2007, this half-GPS-half-touchscreen-phone also comes with a 3.55-inch display, HSDPA connectivity, WiFi, preloaded maps for North America, Western or Eastern Europe (depending on where you buy it), and a 3-megapixel, auto-focusing camera that users can also utilize to geotag photos and emails. Its user interface is to die for, with simple tools like the "Where am I?" feature that automatically pinpoints your location.
The Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 is available on a two-year contract with AT&T, costing $299 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Premium services are also available for $5.99 a month after a 30-day free trial, which includes traffic updates, white pages, weather updates, movie schedules, local events, and fuel price reports.
