Allerta Inc. officially unveiled the inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry. This wristwatch connects wirelessly to your BlackBerry smartphone via Bluetooth, alerting you about incoming emails, SMS, and calls in an instant. In that way, you do not have to pull the BlackBerry out of your pocket every so often, especially in certain situations such as business meetings or going to church (if you still go to church, that is).
The inPulse has an elegant one-button interface that conveniently navigates you through important information such as caller ID, text messages, email titles, calendar alerts, which are then displayed on the colored OLED screen. Made of high-grade metal body and glass lens, the BlackBerry wristwatch also features a vibrating motor, microUSB port, and a rechargeable battery that lasts up to four days.
The inPulse Smartwatch is up for preorder, costing US$149, and will be shipped out sometime in February 2010.
