

Nokia announced the release of two new slider mobile phones today.
The 6700 Slide is a reworking of the older 6700 classic. The handset’s features include of course messaging, chat and email, a 5-megapixel camera, a personal organizer, FM radio, music player, speakerphone, Bluetooth, and a microSD slot. It is available in 6 different colors: aluminum, pink, blue, red, lime and purple and will cost around $240.
Nokia’s other new offering is the 7230. It is slightly oval in shape and features a speakerphone, a 3.2 megapixel camera, messaging, a microSD slot, a personal organizer, and access to social networking and Nokia’s Ovi Store. The 7230 comes in silver and pink and will cost around $150.
Both sliders are slated for availability on early 2010.
