Chipmaker Qualcomm presents a prototype version of their Quanta smartbook, which is a cross between a laptop and a smartphone. The smartbook, which runs in Google Android OS (usually found in recently-made smartphones), is powered by Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon chipset.
Qualcomm representatives claim that this prototype has a battery life of more than eight hours and is connected wirelessly at all times, either through 3G, Wi-Fi, and other connections.
There is no official date when this smartbook becomes fully developed, but as they say, patience is a virtue.
