It is a mystery why HP decided not to introduce this Core i5-powered dv4i notebook on CES 2010 but put it up on its official store. Nevertheless, its features remain interesting enough to be featured here.
The 14-inch HP dv4i runs either with 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 520M or 2.53GHz 540M dual-core processors, it’s your choice. Either way, its Turbo Boost feature can speed the notebook up to 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz respectively. It also has up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of hard disk, and 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4550 graphics chipset.
Design-wise, it keeps the all-black glossy case with overlapping circular patterns its predecessors had. It also means it has kept the chrome trackpad that some users are not too keen about.
The HP dv4i notebook is now available on its official store, with costs starting from US$799.
