LG has recently unveiled the world’s first full HD 3D projector. LG has presented the CF3D which is the world’s first single lens type 3D projector at the CES 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This projector may be able to provide a more life-like viewing experience to the user and the first projector to render a 3D image from just a single lens unit.
The LG CF3D projector features a brightness rating of 2,500 ANSI-lumens and a high contrast ratio of 7,000:1. It is also equipped with TruMotion 120Hz, a technology that is previously seen only in flat panel HDTV’s. The LG CF3D also features both Dual Engine and 3D Calibration technology at Full HD 1080p outputs. This helps ensure that images are displayed as naturally as possible. The new LG CF3D Full HD 3D projector is set to be on sale sometime in May 2010 and is expected to cost around US$10,000.
