Word is that Nintendo has distributed development kits, which are said to be intended for creating games for its upcoming Nintendo DS2, to a number of developers in Japan. One developer revealed that Nintendo’s upcoming handheld gaming console will feature a “tilt function” similar to the iPhone .
However, Nintendo informed to the developers that the “DS2” was merely the first version of what would become the final product and they are gathering feedbacks from developers to improve their product.
Nintendo, meanwhile, refused to comment on what they call “rumor or speculation;” but we could only hope that this device will appear in the upcoming GDC expo.
