A Closer Look on the Archos Vision A43VB PMP

Although six new Archos portable media players have been leaked, the only one worthy of your attention is the inexpensive Archos Vision A43VB.  The device has a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 8GB storage capacity, microSD card slot.  It can support a variety of file formats, including the RMVB that is very popular in China. 

The disappointments, however, stem from its GUI that lacks responsiveness, a lack of interface, and the absence of Android as it uses Archos’ own proprietary OS.

The Archos Vision A43VB will 99 euros (about US$135).  It will also come with an e-book reader, photo viewer, calendar, sound recorder, and stereo external speakers.
