One of the standout gadgets featured in this year’s CES is a US$199 tablet prototype from Freescale that runs on ARM architecture . This time, the company reveals that their tablet design will also adapt Chromium OS and Linux apart from Android.
The tablet, according to Freescale, is undergoing optimization and enhancement of user experience, presumably the installation of a capacitive touchscreen. Imagine that, a very cheap tablet that has more function than the iPad. Let’s hope the powers-that-be pick this for mass production.
