Music Planet Speaker Ball for Melodic Bath Time Moments

It is nice to listen to your favorite music while dipping your whole body in the bathtub, but what if you want to get closer to the beat?  Here comes the Music Planet speaker ball that is designed to float on water while you take a bath.

The device is waterproof and can withstand the waters even when submerged under a meter of water for up to 30 minutes.  However, you do not need to worry about this speaker to sink, as it can float just about on the water surface.  Its features include a FM radio tuner, an SD/ SDHC card slot, a USB socket, and an alarm clock.  It is powered by six AA batteries, providing enough energy to last up to 28 hours.  The problem, however, is that we doubt the USB socket is waterproof at all.

The Music Planet speaker ball is available exclusively in Japan for only 10,500 yen (about US$117).
