Sony Entertainment unveils its motion controller named More for the PlayStation 3 during this year’s GDC, not Gem or Arc as previously posted. There are actually two types, one with the familiar ball on top and nunchuk-like controller without the ball at the tip. The two controllers can even be used simultenously, much like the Wiimote and nunchuk controller on the Nintendo Wii. Latency is said to be under one frame, or probably around 30 microseconds.
So expect several demonstrations in the next coming days on how the Sony Move would incorporate motion to upcoming games. Sony is said to be aiming for a US$100 starter kit, but we’ll see if that materializes.
