Microsoft has announced that the latest firmware for the Zune media player is now up. New features include Smart DJ for the Zune HD, which lets users create playlists based on a single song or artist. The tracks are sourced either from your own collection or through the Zune Marketplace if you have the Zune Pass.
Meanwhile, Zune Marketplace can now be accessed to TV using the Zune HD A/V dock for connection. The Marketplace lets users browse, stream, and download music. New codecs are also included, letting users watch more video formats without transcoding.
