Apparently, there are much more companies who want to stake the claim of becoming the iPad Killer, that is if iPad’s deficiencies are not enough to kill itself. China-based Hanvon is one such company. Already specializing in e-book readers, the little-known Hanvon wants to take it to the next level by launching its very own tablet called Touchpad (the gadget being held by the middle model).

As far as we know, the Touchpad features a 10.1-inch multitouch LED backlight screen as well as support for handwritten input. It runs on Windows 7 and its screen has 1024 x 600 resolution. Other physical specs include WiFi connectivity, 250GB (or 320GB) hard drive, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth, HDMI out, 1.3-megapixel camera, USB 2.0, SD card reader, and a 4800 mAh lithium-polymer battery. All of these components are encased in aluminum alloy.

Availability is still a mystery, but we will keep you posted!
