Viper SmartStart for iPhone now has Push Notifications

An iPhone app that used to remotely start your car, locking and unlocking doors, and popping the trunk now has an added value of including push notifications whenever an alarm is triggered. This means you get alerted about a thief breaking into your car in real time rather than having to check your e-mail. Other alerts include telling the driver that the hood is open or the remote start does not work.

Viper SmartStart kit is available for US$499.99, apart from the yearly $29.99 subscription fee on the iPhone app. Apple iPhone haters would be deligthed to know that it also comes with a BlackBerry app.
