Asus is set to join the tablet wars as it is about to unveil the Eee Pad EP 121 at Computex in Taipei. The 12-inch tablet PC will run on Windows 7 Home Premium and will feature a high-resolution multi-touch screen, a CULV Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and a front-facing webcam.
Other sources claim that the Eee Pad EP 121 will also features handwriting recognition capabilities, a virtual keyboard, and will also come with a docking station slash keyboard to provide that desktop feel to it.
Asus will also unveil a 10-inch cousin called the Eee Pad EP101TC, which will run on Windows Embedded Compact 7, not to mention a lighter load and frame at 675 grams and 12.2 millimeters in thickness.
