Remember the Timex Ironman Global Trainer? Well, it’s out now for retail. To give you a refresher, this wristwatch features SiRFstarIII GPS technology, quickly locking on satellite signals to measure your pace, speed, and distance in real time. It also records up to 100 GPS waypoints, enabling you to create custom routes, and even water resistant for up to 50 meters deep.
The Timex Ironman Global Trainer is being sold on REI and it costs US$275. It sucks though that you have to buy a separate heart rate monitor, which costs about $50.
UPDATE: Just found out you can buy both the Timex Ironman Global Trainer and the heart rate monitor in a special bundle worth $325. It’s like buying them separately, only more convenient.
