Panasonic Lumix LX5 Digital Camera

Panasonic has recently announced its latest point and shoot digital camera in the Lumix LX5. This high performing digital camera aims to become an ideal camera for both professionals and amateur photographers alike. Its features both cater to the needs of both the more discriminating professional and the convenience that casual users look for.

The new Panasonic Lumix LX5 Digital Camera comes with a revised 1/1.63″ High Sensitivity 10 megapixel CCD sensor for higher quality images. The camera is also equipped with F2.0 Leica DC Vario Summicron Lens to help provide outstanding resolution and detail to captured images. The Lumix LX5 is also capable of recording videos in HD format. The Panasonic Lumix LX5 will be made available in the US around late August and is expected to cost around US$500.
