Amazon just unveiled the latest version of their popular Kindle e-book reader. The latest model still has the 6-inch display that the previous Kindle has, but contains a newer type of E-ink display much like in Kindle DX Graphite. It is also smaller and lighter than the older version, yet it has twice the storage power at 4GB as well as a longer battery life. Other features include an updated web browser and a voice navigation option.
Another main difference is the price. The new Kindle is now available and costs US$139 for the Wi-Fi only version, while the Wi-Fi plus free 3G model is sold at $189.
