Why do we have to tire ourselves pulling out the memory card of our digital camera, then putting it in a SD card reader, when we can now plug the camera directly to the PC?
Samsung has unleashed its PL90 point-and-shoot camera, which features an integrated USB plug, thereby eliminating the need for any USB cable or card reader. Apart from that, this camera includes a 12.2-megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoon, a 2.7-inch LCD at the back, and can even shoot video clips in VGA (640 x 480) quality with 30fps and 15fps options. What memory card format it accepts, however, still is unknown.
Expect the Samsung PL90 to pop by September 2010 for US$149.99.
