Samsung Galaxy Tab Previewed in Korea

Posted on August 26, 2010
Category:

Samsung provided a preview of their upcoming Galaxy Tab in their native land South Korea. The Froyo-based tablet computer features WCDMA 3G, WiFi, a 16:10 screen ratio, a front-facing camera, SDHC memory expandability, and a DMB tuner for mobile TV viewing (a usual activity among tech-savvy Koreans). Check this video clip to give you an idea how it works.

Another noticeable feature about this device is that it appears much smaller than the Apple iPad. The Galaxy Tab, when lying on its side, measures half the size of the iPad and can be carried by one hand (and apparently, no need to develop clothing with ridiculously large pockets for it).
