Even the tiniest of iPods gets a makeover. Apple unveils the newest version of the iPod Shuffle, bringing back a feature that was solely missed the last time: The ring buttons. It will also have Apple’s VoiceOver technology, which allows users to easily navigate their music and playlists without having to look at the unit.

The new iPod Shuffle still comes in an all-aluminum case with a built-in clip and comes in a variety of bright colors, no yellow or red though. The tiny portable media player even has a 50 percent more battery life, with over 15 hours of audio playback. It will be available starting next week for a suggested price of US$49 for a 2GB model.
