Let’s admit it, 3D is all the rage and will be evident in gadgets that will be released in the coming years. Sharp, for instance, has come up with a mobile device prototype that features a glasses-free 3D parallax screen (like the one used in Nintendo 3DS), a rear-facing 3D camera, and 3D output via HDMI. It even comes with a 3.7-inch LCD with a 800 x 480 resolution on 2D, which is halved into 400 x 480 in 3D mode.

However, the sample video clips taken from the device, according to Engadget, are not spectacular to say the least. The footage looks grainy and suffers from color bleeding.

We are going out on a limb here and say that this device may not be just a mobile 3D camera. It could be a soon-to-be 3D smartphone. Just look at it and you will notice it as well.
