Nikon unveils its new Coolpix P7000 camera, which appears like a simple point and shoot cam but with controls of a DSLR. It features a 10.1-megapixel sensor in the camera with a 28-200mm zoom range for its lens, and an ISO of up to 6400.

Apart from this awesomeness, the Nikon P7000 also records video clips with 720p resolution at 24 frames per second and allows users to autofocus and zoom while recording. It even records audio with the help of an external microphone, if connected to a mic input jack.

The new Nikon Coolpix P7000 will hit the shelves later this month with an estimated price of US$499.95.
