Good news, more than one carrier will be distributing the upcoming BlackBerry Curve 3G. After Verizon Wireless announced that it will distribute the latest BlackBerry smartphone for US$29.99 and a two-year contract, Sprint has also released a statement that they, too, will be selling the Curve 3G.
Sprint offers the BlackBerry Curve 3G through its Everything plan, costing $49.99 on contract. Yes, we have also noticed the big price discrepancies between the two networks.
The Curve 3G features BlackBerry OS 5 (upgradeable to 6 in early 2011), a trackpad, QWERTY keypad, 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, GPU, dedicated media keys, 512MB of internal memory, and a microSD/ SDHC slot.
Sprint will start selling the BlackBerry Curve 3G on their authorized retail venues beginning September 26.
