This Thermo Mirror Can Read Your Body Temperature

Japanese electronics company NEC/ Avio introduces a new way of for establishments like airports and hospitals to check out body temperatures of customers without the need for million-dollar equipment. The Thermo Mirror looks like an ordinary vanity mirror, but it has an infrared sensor that can measure an onlooker’s core temperature from up to 30 centimeters away. The body temperature appears right on the mirror’s surface, which gives off an alarm if the reading indicates a sign of fever. On ordinary days, the mirror can display date, time, humidity, and room temperature.

Thermo Mirror is available in two variations, costing an equivalent of US$1,180 and $1,440.
