Robostir Does What is Seen on TV: Stirring Soups

Whenever I watch those home shopping advertisements, the first thing that pops out of my head is whether the product would be able to deliver its promise. Most of the time, its claims range from exaggerated to downright unreal. This one, however, looks too simple yet it makes sense. The Robostir is a robotic soup stirrer, just that. If you have a lot of things to do while simmering the soup–like feeding the baby or preparing for the next dish to cook–or you simply do not trust yourself when it comes to keeping the soup from being burnt, then this gadget is for you.

The Robostir runs on four AA batteries and stirs soups using its submersible, waterproof stirring legs. The parts can even be taken apart and put into the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Costs only $11, at least on that part you know you are not being ripped off.
