HTC Tells Apple: Stop Suing, Start Competing

In reaction to Apple’s new patent infringement suit against HTC, a representative of the Taiwan-based smartphone maker gave out some really pointed words for Steve Jobs and his band of suit-frenzy lawyers.

“HTC is disappointed at Apple’s constant attempts at litigations instead of competing fairly in the market,” HTC general counsel Grace Lei said. Oooh… burn…

The comment comes after Apple attempted to block the import of HTC devices for the second time. Don’t forget that Apple has also sued the likes of Amazon, GetJar, and more recently, Samsung. With the way things are going, many tech bloggers are not cheering behind Apple.

“At this rate, the company is probably spending almost as much on legal fees as it is on the engineers and designers tasked with whipping up its next generation of mobile products,” Engadget wrote with conviction. Oooh… burn…
