You can find iPhone docks everywhere, but not so much iPad docks. Sony has recently announced two new models that work with the iPhone and iPod Touch, one of which can also play with the iPad.
The iPad-friendly RDP-X500iP features “Clear Phase DSP, DMC technology, Dual Passive Radiators, and Magnetic Fluid Speakers.” We are not sure how these specs are able to produce high-quality audio, but it better be considering its $299 suggested retail price.
Meanwhile, the ICF-CS15iP do not have the fancy-sounding specs and instead features Mega Bass and Mega Xpand sound modes, along with multi-function alarm clock and AM/ FM radio. This iPhone and iPod Touch dock is expected to hit Sony Stores on October 2011 for only $99.
