LEGO’s tie-ups with popular movie franchises remain unwavered as it ships the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Set. Builders ages 8 to 14 can create a replica of Captain Jack Sparrow’s pirate ship using more than 800 LEGO blocks. It also comes with six mini-figure characters from the blockbuster film namely Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Davy Jones, Joshamee Gibbs, and Bootstrap Bill.
The pirate ship replica is as real as it gets, including a moveable anchor, detachable floorboard, and an accessible captain’s cabin with opening door. The set is completed by attaching non-block details such as masts, shrouds, bowsprit, and lanterns. The completed model measures almost two feet long and more than 20 inches high. By the way, it does not float on water.
