Formerly available on Android devices, the Gametel Bluetooth controller was recently shown at CES working compatibly on iOS devices. This gadget from Fructel attaches itself to a smartphone using a plastic spring-loaded clamp and rubberized grip, which holds the phone securely (no matter what the model) even when shaken. Battery life is expected to run up to nine hours, or shorter if your smartphone could not keep up with it.
The controller makes a great alternative to touch screen buttons, which can be a hassle in games that require precision such as fighting games. Too bad it does not have an analog controller.
This Bluetooth game controller has been available in Europe for 58 euros (about US$74) and will be brought in North America by first quarter of 2012.
