FitBit Aria WiFi Smart Scale

Even bathroom scales nowadays benefit from today’s technology. Simply just taking your weight does not cut it anymore. With bathroom scales the likes of the new FitBit Aria WiFi Smart Scale, one can now get a record of weight changes that one goes through over time and view it from a smartphone.

The new FitBit Aria WiFi Smart Scale not only takes down your weight, it can also measure your body fat and body mass index. The weighing platform also contains small electrodes that send safe signals through your body to measure impedance in order to measure body fat and lean mass accurately. This information can then be sent over the Internet using your homes wireless network and to your portable device via the FitBit website and app. It can record the weights of up to 7 individuals, keeping track of their progress. The FitBit Aria WiFi Smart Scale is currently available for pre-order at the FitBit site for US$130. It is expected to be available around April.
