Forget about the Tom Cruise-Katy Holmes divorce, this is breaking news! Ren Ng, founder of Lytro camera, announced that he is stepping down as CEO and will work in the company from hereon as Executive Chairman.
Lytro has assigned Charles Chi, the current Executive Chairman, as interim CEO until they have found a suitable candidate to become a permanent CEO who will oversee day-to-day operations.
Meanwhile, Ng will remain a full-time employee, although all his focus shifts to “product vision, technology, and strategic direction for the company.”
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to focus on these areas where I am most passionate,” Ng wrote in Lytro’s official blog.
