Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000

Microsoft has recently unveiled new webcam models for a unique online video experience. Shape takes a new turn for Microsoft's new webcam offering in the LifeCam VX-5000. This new webcam model comes with a unique bendable attachment base that can effectively have it molded into any surface. It can be used quite conveniently whether you are using a desktop or a portable notebook and is small enough that users may be able to bring it anywhere.

The LifeCam VX-5000 features world-class VGA optics able to provide 640 x 480 video resolution and a 1.3 megapixel still image quality. This webcam also has pan, tilt and 3x digital zoom feature to provide better video and image versatility when used. It also has a built-in unidirectional microphone with acoustic noise cancellation features for crystal clear sound.

The LifeCam VX-5000 is equipped with the Windows LiveCall Button located on top of the webcam to quickly start video calls to friends and loved ones with just a touch. With the LifeCam Dashboard incorporated within Windows Live Messenger interface ensures an easy navigating experience for the user.
