Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1 camera

Fujifilm has announced that their FinePix Real 3D W1 camera, which they brag as "the world’s first 3D imaging system," is now available in the United States.  What makes this camera special is that it captures 3D still images and movies that users can enjoy without the burden of using special 3D glasses.

Apart for the ability to create 3D photos and video, the FinePix Real 3D W1 also comes with a 3x optical zoom, a 3D LCD system for on-camera viewing, a Dual Capture Shooting Mode that takes two separate shots simultaneously in different settings.  The camera’s dual lens can also be used to stretch the creative limits of 2D photography.  It also supports playback of 3D pics and movies as well as SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards.

When using this camera, however, take note that capturing photos on 3D setting may hurt your head a bit so you may end up opting for a 2D photo setting.  But do not worry, because all files are stored in both JPEG and MPO formats.

The Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1 camera is available in the United States for US$599.95, or you can simply go for the 3D digital viewer for 499.95.  For those who want their 3D photo printed, you would probably have to upload them through Fujifilm’s printing website SeeHere.com and order them for US$6.99 a print.
