GameStick strikes partnership with Ubisoft.[1]

GameStick, the stick-sized Android-based gaming console[2], has announced a deal with Ubisoft. The noted video game publisher will be bringing its popular Prince of Persia franchise, specifically “The Shadow and the Flame”, to the GameStick platform.

This is major news for the people behind the Android-based gadget, as this marks the first time a major developer embraces the platform. As for the release date, we will have to wait for another announcement for that. PlayJam, the company behind the console, also adds that more major game houses will be joining as well.

The GameStick console and controller bundle is now available for pre-order[3] on its online store for £80 (about US$130). Shipping begins on December 15.
