Home Box Office’s top-notch and award-winner television series are now available for purchase and download on iTunes. Users can now get to watch their favorite programs from HBO including the Emmy Award-winning "The Sopranos," "Sex in the City," "Deadwood," and "Rome," as well as the critically-acclaimed "Flight of the Conchords," and "The Wire." The iTunes Store is a popular online media store with over 150 million episodes sold and features the largest catalog of over 800 television shows.

"We’re very excited to make these legendary HBO programs available on the iTunes Store," said Henry McGee, president of HBO. Video. "Whether catching up on ‘Sex in the City’ or reliving a favorite ‘Sopranos’ episode, we think viewers will love being able to watch these shows on their iPod or iPhone."

Meanwhile, Apple’s Vice President of iTunes Eddy Cue said they are thrilled to bring an incredible lineup of programming from HBO to the iTunes Store. "These are some of the most talked-about television shows ever, as well as some of the most requested by our customers."

As with HBO programs, television shows purchased and downloaded from the iTunes Store can be viewed on a Mac or PC, on all models of iPod with video capabilities, iPhone, or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV. Prices range from $1.99 to $2.99 per episode depending on the series. Customers can also choose whether to download an episode or an entire season.
